Lower Minnesota River Watershed District
This long-time client, the nation’s first watershed district, required a website that would speak to its diverse audiences — government agencies, commercial entities, and homeowners.
Young Zeck inherited an old design but brought it up to date to reflect the needs of the stakeholders. The theme, as you see, is clean and modern. And reflects the District’s mission of promoting both river commerce and water quality on the Lower Minnesota.
Young Zeck maintains the website for a modest monthly fee — and contributes regularly updated articles about the District’s business. Articles that are clear and lively even when they’re about technical topics.
The Musical Offering
Anyone up for divine music?
Twin Citians who love classical music love the Musical Offering, a chamber music group whose members come from the Minnesota Orchestra and other prestigious venues.
Now in its 40th year, the Offering presents beautiful music in the intimate setting of Hamline University’s Sundin Music Hall.
The MO’s website is based on a WordPress theme. Once set up, the WordPress template can easily be augmented and modified. MO musicians can contribute to the blog on their own. And MO administrators can change the text on any page with just a few keystrokes. (No coding is required.)
Arlene Clapp & Co. Executive Recruiters
Arlene Clapp needed a website to promote her real-estate and construction-industry recruitment firm.
When she turned to Young Zeck, we studied her organization — and organized her appeals.
Arlene proclaims here, and develops too, the idea that she is honest, upfront, and creative. And she provides convincing examples.
Window Painting USA
When Jason Martin takes out his brushes, people notice. And now that he has a colorful, dynamic website, they’re noticing even more.
For Jason and his business, Window Painting USA, Young Zeck set up a WordPress Content Management System that Jason could manage, pretty much on his own, once it was published.
To add words or images, he simply goes into the WordPress administrative area (which requires a username and password). Just as in a Word document, Jason can easily add text or images, cutting, pasting, resizing as he will.
Though adding image galleries is a bit more complex, Young Zeck has provided training, one on one, and clear, step-by-step written instructions. This way, Jason and other clients can get up and running quickly on their own. And require only necessary attention.
