To review Young Zeck work on company brochures:
Brief descriptions of these brochure projects follow, in the order of the images above, left to right.
The Hunt Electric brochure announces on the front cover, “The resource you can draw on wherever you’re going.”
“Resource,” in this scheme, comprises electric, technical, and personal resources, as we make clear from the start of the text.
This theme, then, is developed throughout the brochure, in words and images. It’s reinforced and solidified in the audience’s minds.
And the audience comes away from the the brochure impressed by the correct and enthusiastic quality of the writing and design. The efficient, progress of the piece. And Hunt Electric’s capabilities, so capably represented here.
The Harris Companies are mechanical contractors and engineers. Their company brochure headline proclaims, “Creative Solutions for All Your Mechanical Needs.”
In other words, what other contractors may see and do mechanically Harris does creatively. With their experience and ingenuity, they design, build, and maintain structures with more than the average competence.
Organized by market, the brochure presents Harris’s best case for the analytic and creative advantages they offer clients in a wide array of fields.
This contemporary looking brochure blends the best in writing, design, and on-site photography. It’s a seamless job — as proud and responsive to Harris’s needs as Harris is to its customers’.
Arlene Clapp’s recruiting brochure announces, “Her Candidates Get Rave Reviews.”
In other words, Arlene puts the best candidates in front of employers, who give the candidates top marks.
The graphic shows clapping (for Clapp).
This client was an investment banker that acted as an intermediary between Wall Street and Main Street, structuring private placement deals.
WSCM offered both professional advice and personal attention, and so the tone of this brochure, both verbal and graphic, accomplishes this neat balancing act: it’s at once well structured and professional, and yet it has the friendly tone of two business people who are comfortable doing business together.
This brochure deal was put together, shall we say, on a gentlemen’s handshake, an accelerated schedule, and a modest budget.
